Planned Assault CT - Louisville Regionals top 16

This deck performed pretty well, going 3-2 in swiss rounds.

A few things I'll likely change:

-1 Stimhack +1 Mimic. The tempo hit from femme is sometimes huuuge overkill when you just want to break a draco, caduceus, rototurret, etc.

-1 levy, +1 Zu: Same reasoning here. Quandry needs a cheaper answer than 9 credits.

I have considered dropping dino - could see adding in an escher and maybe one mem chip. Sure, dino can be huge efficiency, but your breakers are so expensive that if you cant test run femme in the early game, it takes a while to get up and running, even with Opus.

Besides that, solid deck

In swiss, this deck lost to a pretty cool RP glacier deck. I had 2 indexings all but whiff. Mid game we were both at 2 points, and I legwork into HQ and hit a future perfect and lost the psi game. If i would have won that, i would have had a pretty good shot of getting off one more indexing/legwork for the win.

I like the idea, a toolbox of events out of shaper with big efficient breakers. I remember overhearing you say something I've been thinking about for a long time, that the future is in specific breakers and less about a rig. This deck kind of flows opposite of what you were saying. Can shaper maybe hybrid into a toolbox of events and programs effectively given access to escher and TME, and cheap import of stimhack?

Have you seen the San Antonio second place deck with Personal Workshop + stimhack (essentially a modern turbo rig)? Maybe using event based attacks with PW and utility programs could make for a fast and hard hitting build. I'm curious to know what beat you, and would moving to a build like the PW+Stim build maybe overcome what shut you out.

It kinda does fly in the face of how i normally play a shaper rig - thats sorta why I tried it out - was getting bored of my standard (but powerful) kate lists. And i think the breaker suite is definitely the weakest part of this list - the 2x planned assault 3x SoT event setup was awesome, however. You can do so much with that setup - its really cool.

Thats part of the reason for my changes to the rig, above. Having a choice between mimic or femme, and torch or zu(or probably cypher) is really powerful.

Yeah, I saw that list - looks really really fun. I love workshop, though obviously wont be all that great with siphon in your deck. This build doesnt need siphon, however - could be replaced with an escher and save you some influence. Certainly would be different, and probably worse, but still doable.

As far as what I lost to:

NBN TWIY Scorch/psycho etc. Completely my fault. I saw a scorch off a legwork early, but then saw a rototurret or something, so i knew he was only running 2 scorch. He hadn't drawn many cards and I had seen a lot of cards of his hand, so I just assumed he didn't have the second scorch. I ended turn 5 with plascrete and 3 cards, and he promptly double scorched me.

Jinteki RP glacier: This list I was really impressed with. It was basically this: netrunnerdb.com . Lots of money, lots of ice, ash and caprice, and running a 9 agenda suite all of agendas that cost money to steal.

If i remember right, I hit with a couple indexings rather early, and only saw one fetal.

Mid game, we were both at 2 points, and I legwork HQ and hit a future perfect. I lost the psi game, and he installed it into a super super safe remote - was something like 2x tollbooth, inazuma, something else. If i would have won that psi game, i probably would have had a chance, since I I had another indexing and SoT in hand.
