Test Run-Magnum Opus is even worse than that. You actually get an Opus and 2 after 8 s, 9s if you count drawing Test Run. *End of the turn, Magnum Opus goes back on your stack. If you count having to draw Test Run it is basically spending 2 whole turns to install Magnum Opus for free... Which needless to say is really really terrible. |

Clarification: I was assuming Test Run is in your opening hand, in which case Test Run Opus, triple click Opus, draw Opus, install Opus leaves you with Opus on the board, 4 cards in hand, and 3c in your pool after 6 clicks. Comparisons: Test Run+Scavenge: 10c, 3 cards in hand. SMC: 6c, 4 cards in hand. Sure Gamble+SMC: 10c, 3 cards in hand. Of course these require C&C, so they aren't an option for you, but in light of this comparison you should probably consider a different economic engine, or else dedicate some influence to 3x Magnum Opus. |

Since publishing this deck, I have accumulated several more data packs and the first three expansions. I'll have to go though and edit Gabe with the cards I have now. Thanks again for all of your input! :D |
Does your opponent have the same card pool? If so, I think I'd suggest going for Yogsucker instead of Peacock: within core+genesis, the only code gates of strength higher than 3 are Bullfrog, Chum, Hourglass, Viper, Sensei, Tollbooth, and Cell Portal. Only Viper and Tollbooth are any particular concern, and Yogsucker handles them for 1 and 2 sucker tokens respectively. You'd need to free up some influence, but you could do that by switching to Special Order rather than Test Run. Test Run Opus is not very good anyway (you get an Opus and 3 credits after 6 clicks).
