Cyber-Cypher is excellent for dedicated R&D runs, as it is cheaper and more powerful then Gordian Blade. The Zu is nice because it installs for free and sometimes won't take up any space - great if the corp has a code gate-light setup. I like Battering Ram because if the corp has multiple heavy barriers (Thinking of H&B and Wayland) it pays for itself, while if you only see the occasional wall of static then Corroder is the better option. |
I assume you only have base set and C&C, so you are a bit limited, but what is the the though behind all the different ice breakers? Gordian Blade is pretty nice, so you could just consolidate, drop the Cyber-Cypher and ZU.13 Key Master. As well as perhaps drop one of Mimic or Ninja (Pipeline is horrible, but the influence is a bit of an issue). It would be nice just to have one more Corroder and not bother with the Battering Ram.
