Pre-rotation decklist |
This deck is the result of a single idea: Get Cortex Lock out on turn 1 as often as possible with as many copies as possible. Next Design allows you to put them out before the game and then see more of your deck to put even more out on Turn 1. If you have some combo of seeing all 3 Cortex's between your Next phase and your first turn, you can click for a credit and have enough to rez a Cortex on R&D, HQ, and your remote all turn 1. Runner is died.
The rest of the deck follows the idea that the runner is briefly locked out early on. Between Cortex, Eli, and Ice Wall, you want to get your Campaigns up and running yesterday. This allows you to install and rez some of the nastiest ICE in the game and score out your nice agendas. It's very simple, and I think it should get a lot of kills/wins.

Heh. I get similar notions, where I come up with ways to massively murder the runner. One significant issue, though, is that you cannot force the runner to run where you want. Triple Breaker Bay Grid is probably excessive, but it does combo well with at least 6 assets. Be interesting to see how the deck plays. |
I'm picturing a hilarious situation where you have an Eve installed behind a Cortex and a Cortex on your HQ or R&D turn 1. The runner hits the central Cortex, says "ow," and spends a turn drawing back up. You rez the Eve (hopefully for free), he goes to trash thinking "no way there's 2 Cortex's this early as HB" and hits another Cortex. I'm in love with this idea. I only have.... forever until I get off of work.
