I think it's becoming increasingly clear that the Restricted list has some of the same fundamental issues as the old influence-based MWL: while it does break up combos to keep certain key interactions from being excessively powerful, it is still ultimately a shopper's guide to what to build your deck around.

For instance: Inversificator Kit is still obnoxiously good at remote-camping, and at weakening otherwise well-defended servers.

Granted, this isn't quite as bad as having both Inversificator and Magnum Opus in the same deck. Maximum wealth to pump into Inversificator is a goddamn nightmare to deal with as a Corp player. That's not quite as readily available in this version. Instead, you have Aeneas Informant plunking on exposed servers for cash, Beth Kilrain-Chang to take advantage of corporate wealth, Professional Contacts to get paid for digging, and Astrolabe to dig even deeper.

All of that, basically, to set up Indexing/Mad Dash/"Freedom Through Equality" theft windows.

If you can't quite make central runs, for whatever reason, take solace in the fact that you're piloting Kit with a decent sustained-econ engine, and remote-camping is easy with Inversificator. You also get a singleton Legwork and some event recursion with a couple of Same Old Things on deck for the otherwise abysmal CI matchup. Just remember to dig Misdirection out early so that you can knock off HHN tags on the cheap.

Ultimately, the corporation's stuck between two poor choices: leave HQ only lightly defended, which makes Kit's Shaper tools more effective, or run a deck that can support ice saturation across multiple servers -- which makes her breakers all the more powerful. That is what we call a "win-win" situation.
