Subject: Marcomannic Projects - Goth

We are pleased to discuss the most recent updates on the development of the newest counterintrusion vectors (see, ref: Projects Rugii, Gepid, Burgund). Branch 5H0's research in retaliatory network development, based heavily on the discoveries made in Hellas, has advanced more rapidly than originally estimated.

The combinatorial genetic advances made by our peers at Daedalus was, of course, the basis for this iteration of Goth. Early field usage of it with the so-called nematocystic defenses proved nightmarish to hostile breach attempts (see analysis reports in attached folder). But it wasn't until we began application of its underlying mechanisms to our established successes back on Earth that these latest iterations proved fruitful.

We would, however, like to request a budgetary realignment. Unusually, perhaps -- for more security. The rapidity of 5H0-G/GOTH's development has put an unexpected strain on our capabilities regarding such matters, and I anticipate that you may deem it unacceptable for our peers elsewhere to learn of what we've developed, at least before it's ready.

In other news, I regret to inform you of the passing of security vice-chief Yamada and three of his colleagues. Please see attached forms for the widowers' pensions request...
