Kills People Fast

Like the title says, kills people fast. I don't think it's much different to most Argus decks, but I've been having a lot of success with it so I thought I'd post it.

General tactics: Your first piece of ice goes on a remote. You're using it to protect Oaktown Renovation, to score and get money, or a Dedicated Response Team to hurt them when they score. Sometimes it protects a Posted Bounty, if you have the kill ready to go.

Once you've got an agenda out, putting a Corporate Town behind ice really slows down a lot of runners, provided you rez it at the right time. Often it's worth forfeiting a 2-pointer if you can wreck the runner hard enough. Otherwise, you start playing shell game. Some remotes get ice, some don't. Some are agendas, some are DRTs, some are Snares, some are Corporate Towns.

Casting Call is generally used for 1-pointers, especially Posted Bounty and Underway Renovation. I rarely use it for 2-pointers, because the runner always gets their worth from stealing them. Posted Bounty and Underway Renovation make them make much harder choices, for less value.

As ever, this deck is far from perfect, so I'd appreciate other people's thoughts on it. Currently my thinking is that Data Raven isn't actually doing anything, and could be a SEA Source instead. Although runners generally assume I have it, actually having it may be a huge boon. Other suggestions are also welcomed.

I'm surprised you don't like Data Raven. It's probably the best piece of central ICE in the game for DRT Argus, and also pairs fantastically with your renovation agendas (the runner in most cases must take a tag to stop the agenda's advance effect, triggering the DRTs -- leaving them with more damage or tags).

I love using a Casting Call on a Project Atlas behind a Data Raven. Three guaranteed tags with the possibility of a fourth or two meat damage. Or you just let me put two counters on that scored Atlas for later.
