Same as most Scorched Earth decks but with the complete abandonment of trying to win through agenda scoring, hence the TGTBT instead of Quantum Predictive Model. I also added an Archangel to help deal with Plascrete Carapace. I ended up coming in third after swiss due to my runner only going 2-2.

Also isn't Archangel a really unreliable method of getting rid of Plascrete? Surely it only works if the runner is foolish enough to run last click or flat broke. |

I'd looked at it this way: The runner is going to realize almost immediately that I'm going for scorch just from the very fact that I'm playing Haarp, so they'll be constantly clearing tags. So instead of trying just hope that they're running with tags and happen to hit a quantum, I can take advantage of Haarps ability by either dumping TGTBT's into archives and havin them access two or three or just install one naked and a single iced profiteering for the money next turn so I can money up for the midseasons or scorch. I don't actually install Archangel, I just try to keep it in r&d and use the when access ability. I mean it's no less dependable than an advanced shattered remains since the only four advancement agenda you'd be installing is a explode-a-pallooza which the runner isn't trying to hit either. It's just an alternative. |
I always thought the Quantum Predictive Model wasn't in Harp decks in order to win through agenda scoring but rather so that they could reliably score an agenda to feed to 24/7 News Cycle.
