My deck from the Houston H1 CO. Plan is pretty straight forward. Play like your control shaper, set up Aesop's and make a bunch of credits. Then if/when the board state becomes untenable, delete it and start over. On the whole it performed really well on the day. All of my opponents were on some sort of fast advance plan, so Clot was worth its weight in gold.
On an unrelated note, we ran this event as single sided swiss. Really liked it. At an event this small with no cut, ID/241s weren't really an issue, but you get to play a lot of different people this way, which I feel is a major improvement of double sided for small events where you only play 3 opponents.

Been playing this a lot and enjoying it - thanks for posting the list. Any play tips you care to share? Something I've been struggling with is in matchups where I need Misdirection or if I ever want Conduit the lack of MU is a major challenge. Been thinking about DZMZ optimizer, potentially even adding two and going to 47 cards with how many cards this deck draws naturally. Thoughts? |
