(If you know, then you know.)
Winner, Jankiest Sable ID at Aldershot Nothing Else Meta'd May 2023, and frankly, not much else.
This could use some tweaks, and it's entirely possible that this would work better out of Az, but let's talk about why this is a Sable Deck.
Sable runs, and is rewarded for running, pure & simple. If it doesn't make you run on most of your turns, then it's not a Sable Deck.
This limits the jank space of this deck a little, or so I thought until I searched for successful run triggers and landed on Knobkierie.
So you've drawn your first hand and it's got an Asmund Pudlat in it, (because that is a jawline you aggressively mulligan for) and that means you're going to get your Fermenter down turn 2 and your Turtle down turn 3.
Draw. Set up & make money. Kill a man if you have to, just get that first Acacia down. Consider not trashing it straight away if your opponent purges for less than 6c, unless you really need the money. You don't want to have spent all those hard-won Sable clicks on just a Sure Gamble, do you? Trust that it'll be worth it when your second Asmund pops out and you have a Leech down the turn after.
Keep going. Whatever Leech & Turtle can't handle in the mid-game, you have 2 Boomerang and 3 Backstitching for. Consider overdrawing to trash a breaker so you can Simulchip it back off a Fermenter cash-in if you need to go fast. This continues until, after considerable time & effort invested, (let's take a minute to remind ourselves that this is jank) you finally install Knobkierie.
Now we're talking. So now you're running for anywhere between 2-9 virus counters a turn, plus whatever you have on Tranquilizer (how about that Ag Prison tech...?), and your opponent has to purge every 2 turns in order to prevent you becoming obscenely wealthy off Acacia if they wait a third. You may or may not have lost the game by this point, but who really cares, when you're leeched up like a sickly Georgian nobleman?
