Tapestry is an interesting and unexpectedly powerful piece of ice that should not be undersold in your deckbuilding. The 5 rez cost is high, but this is a 6 strength, 3 sub ONE INFLUENCE piece of ice. The point of tapestry is simply to be extremely obnoxious to the runner. It's absurd to break, but the subs are all small tempo penalties for the runner. Essentially it is meant to be a gradual tempo tax that the runner simply has to give up and concede to you if they want to touch that server.

The 3rd sub, though, is where the power of this ice shines. Put this thing on HQ or RD, and it will do a surprisingly amazing job of either protecting your agendas or taxing the bejeesus out of the runner. If they run on HQ, you can take an agenda or other valuable card and put it on RD, keeping it safe from the runner unless they then want to run RD as well. Put it on RD, and you can put your hedge fund or whatever back on top of the deck, keeping single accesses from ever stealing agendas. It is also kind of a counter to medium, since you can keep dumping your hand back on top of your deck to negate medium counters, plus the huge cost to break means you will be firing the "lose a click" sub as well, so if you aren't willing to use macrophage, this is an excellent all purpose anti-medium ice.

It also can work well on archives, given you deck (probably a jinteki one), gives the runner an incentive to go into archives. Something like RP when the other centrals are beefed up, or when leaving The Future Perfect's in your archives with a few shocks, this will make that archives dive even more unsavory for the runner.

If you're playing a glacier deck that goes for the long game and has solid econ, Tapestry can be a huge thorn in the runner's side, keeping them off your HQ and RD for a good portion of the game while you build up. Then, later in the game, you can put a Sub Boost on it because neither of those cards are rotating and you are the actual devil.

As Seidr, once Snare is in Archives, you can return it to the top of R&D if they don't break this (and you haven't triggered Seidr already) Wash, rinse, repeat. —
Add in a Daily Business Show and you now get to pick the best card out of your top two, and set up which card you want to put on the bottom in your next turn. —

One major thing needs to be understood about this card. It stops the corp from WINNING the game by having 7 points, it doesn't do anything to stop the corp from GETTING to 7 points. It doesn't stop them from advancing or scoring at all (like clot and price of freedom), so if they have an agenda in hand or on the board, Black File does nothing to prevent them from scoring it and saying "I win" 2 turns later. That means it's only useful in an extremely close game where you both are at match point and you need 2 extra turns to try to make sure they don't score first while you dig for the winning agenda.......and it costs you 5 credits. Plus it's only 1 in the deck, so the consistency of this card is very weak. It can feel great when it works, but very rarely will you have it in hand AND need it AND have the extra money for it at the same time. It's nowhere near reliable enough to be put in a serious deck. Disappointing, I know, but true.

eParty is, again, overall decent but not great on it's own, but in the right strategy could be worth using. Remember the flavor text on baliff? "effeiciency is making money on what you were doing anyway". Criminal has lots of ways to make money, but not many for drawing cards. Outside of geist and earthrise hotel, crim doesn't really have any "draw engine" cards, and thus will likely get most of their cards by clicking for them. eParty gives you money for doing that, and basically thins your deck out while throwing you some cash. ProCo/Baby have similar effects, but Proco is out of faction and costs a ton to put down, and copies are useless, Baby easy to put in, but is limited to one a turn and doesn't filter your deck, and copies are again dead draws. Drug dealer is a thing but costs you money every turn. Slotting those 6 cards into a deck may be very difficult, but in the right deck, (say an andy or Sillo) it should allow you to play an extrememly fast and hyper-agressive early game deck where you get free extra money while finding your combo pieces and can jumpstart from low credits easily (the 4th eparty is an easy mark plus a card draw). It can also allow you to run a somewhat more reliable combo deck, since you are essentially thinning your deck 6 slots while making money.

It's worth a try but I typically find Mr Li to be the only draw I need out of criminal. Especially of you run special order to grab breakers when you need them. Second point: thinning deck is a fair point but don't forget you have to spend clicks to do it. Double costs there. —
You've nailed what the other reviews have missed. This is a deck thinning play. Seeing it as a money making alone is missing the point. —
What is more exclusive then a party for aggressive independent A.I's? —

MaE is indeed a combo card more than a filter, because it can send cards to the heap and anarch loves cards in the heap. Use MaE, fix your next 4 draws while throwing Clot and Femme Fatal into your heap, then Retrieval Run to essentially play femme for 3 credits and getting it several turns sooner than you normally would because you got to dig 6 deep for it. MaE is ok as a cantrip if used solely for that, but it is a fantastic graveyard-shenanigans-enabler. If more ways come for players to cheat stuff into play from their yard, MaE will become a high-priority card in those decks. Remember MtG thinks digging 4 deep into their deck is hugely powerful and that's with 1/3 larger decks. MaE is just a piece to a combo we haven't seen yet.
