Blue Sun (Turning it On and Off Again)

Have you tried turning it on and off again?

Crazy deck I designed... uses the Crisium Grid/Off the Grid combo... that I have titled On and Off again... The point is to make HQ so intensive to get into... twice... with trashing crisium... maybe two... that your off the grid server is untouchable.

Early game I won't even worry about the combo... and just use a huge piece of ice or two to sneak out Agendas...

Architect is amazing both with the combo and without... and at worse it is a 2 credit tax they can't let go off.... I've had games where I have set up scoring servers with it... also great at getting back trashed stuff. It has crossed my mind to add a Patch to these to make them even more of a pain... let them go off more.

It has also crossed my mind to add in executive boot camp, because I did once run into a Valencia deck that got all the cards they needed early and never let me rez one piece of ice all game. Not to mention it would help me get the combo faster if need be.

Comments/Criticisms welcome... Enjoy.

I've been trying to make the Off the Grid thing work for some time. Do you find that 3 is the correct number? I don't like seeing multiples, but they are quite easy to trash off of R&D. Thoughts?

Of all the issues this deck has, 3x Off the Grid was not one of them. Even though I did not hesitate to score an early agenda behind say a curtain wall in a temporary server, I find that if I want to set up the combo with any reliability I need 3x... with tutoring (Boot Camp) or better recursion that mimic can't turn off (Interns), perhaps a 2x... but still being able to just throw another down is not a bad idea... I've had plenty of them pulled from my hand or deck... with Blue Sun... they don't stay on the board but long enough to score... tbh though I'm playing a kill punitive/scorch Blue Sun deck now, and that is probably the best Blue Sun deck right now... I'd change this one quite a bit if I went back to the deck... it went 3-2 in a tourney... though the failure of my runner deck and inexperience had me competing for last place :)
