Assuming the ban-restricted list from Spoiler-ken is legit, my plans for a Val econ-denial/badpub deck looks mightily shabby. The whole issue with Investigative Journalism, which was a major component of the original decklist, was that it was a pretty shoddy card by itself. Though Bad Publicity is an inherently powerful effect, losing an entire turn and part of another to put on an additional point of it was painful tempo loss, to say the least.
Originally, Bloo Moose went some ways towards making up for it. At base values, it was basically returning two click's worth of effort for utilizing Investigative Journalism, which does make the math on +1 badpub arguably worth it. A deck without it basically halved the value.
But that's alright. There's another way to hurt the corp: cut off their options. Instead of Itinerant Protesters, go with Hacktivist Meeting, forcing the corp to overextend in assets in order to keep options out of Archives. Use your Restricted slot to draw in a singleton Film Critic to have a better Jinteki matchup. If we don't have Temüjin Contract, we can at least use Aeneas Informant as supplemental econ, profiting off any assets that Hacktivist Meeting forces out into the open.
And then you can switch to Alice Merchant: Clan Agitator to secure the deal.
Other notable changes: Datasucker should hopefully address an issue with the previous build. There are a handful of ice that make it really expensive to use Black Orchestra or MKUltra -- which is to be expected, given Anarchs specialize in barrier-busting instead. Datasucker ought to defray the cost a bit, though.
