2014 Regionals Decklist LinCon Sweden - 2nd place (corp)

Ilza 126

Played at the LinCon regionals 30/5 2014 with 24 participants. Was played with 4 rounds of swiss and then top-8 double elimination. Finished first after the swiss (without a bye) at 14 prestige.

Went 5-2 during the tournament (3-1 in the swiss) where my only swiss loss was in a epic game against Noise where he managed to snag a last 2-pointer for the win in a major medium/demo run dig with no cards in hand or in his deck (if he had hit my last one-pointer instead it would have been my win since he was at 5 points).

The deck works really well if you expect a criminal-heavy meta but the shaper match-up is hard if they run a lot of recursion.

Mostly I like the card choices, but the Braintrusts should probably be Medical Breakthrough instead. Yagura should probably be swapped out for something with End the Run, perhaps a Wall of Thorns or the third Quandary. ICE choices are limited since the deck runs so little economy and has no slots for additional economy.

Can you tell me about your choice not to run more Komainu?

@Fjord: While Komainu is a strong ICE, it's somewhat expensive and vulnerable to instant parasites. Also keeping the runner off a sentrybreaker is pretty hard since you usually cannot catch them with Power Shutdown. Still swapping the Swordsman for a second Komainu could be worth it depending on how the Atman decks looklike in your meta.

I never leave Komainu without Inazuma. I think they were both created to go together. Still, parasite annihilate Komainu but if it as discarded his whole hand one time, it has already done its job.
