This is a for fun deck
Built as a 1-shot flatline deck, rather than an attrition flatline deck. The idea is to force the runner to access cards with kitsune to whatever tune it will take to kill them. I lost 2 games with it in the night-before-worlds winter tourney.
Funny plays:
Handing them a fetal and making it so they can't steal the LS out of the remote they were running, or else its a 5 damage punitive.
Handing them a snare! so that if it's a fetal they can't steal.
Handing them an LS if there is an LS in the remote and hoping they can't steal another agenda or out money you.
The list goes on and on. With Archived Memories giving you lots of gifts, you can easily get plenty of cash. You also need only draw 1 punitive if you have AM. Labryinthine Servers is used instead of TFP because you WANT to give the 3 pointers away half the time.
LS can also be used to force the runner into accessing a project junebug or fetal after popping them with sufficient net damage during the run. This fact alone makes remotes tough to attack, if you don't want to just draw up.
The list started out as Tori Hanzo brain damage into punitive triggering off HoK and Kitsune + snare/shock/any agenda but that got too expensive fast, which broke the punitive.
This little bit of silly works surprisingly well, especially if your opponent runs light on cash and especially if they can't break traps. Swordsman even poops on those AI breakers that would seek to destroy the traps.
Issues I've had are early losses due to picking out the massive 3 pointers without retribution, opus decks that see the punitives (I mean, you're showing it to them afterall), early plascretes, and decks that have AI and tutoring (katman).

Yes, and that makes it all the better...they take the 2 for hitting it, and don't even get 2 points! It's all upside, and it acts a bit like a 4,5,6th snare! in a lot of cases. To win you do have to measure scoring windows off damage windows, back to classic work compression, and worst case scenario analysis. |

True. I think I'd play TFP instead of the Labyrinthine Servers. The fact that, knowing your money, their money and that you have Punitive Counterstrike you can bid the correct amount, which if they pay you will kill them. That's why I loved both TFP and NAPD Contract in my RP kills decks. One thing though. How does the deck feels when they get 1x Plascrete Carapace. I remember that I found it a bit troublesome, since even if they steal a 3 pointer, and you PS them, that still leaves 1 extra fluff, But I was playing it in RP, not PE :) |

The plascrete effectively shuts down the punitive option unfortunately, that said, a triple can do work. I think the problem I have there is that sometimes you want to give the runner a 3 pointer, and TFP doesn't let you do that reliably. Also a score LS can be effective in killing a runner, or keeping them from running at all...remember, if you use the counter, they have to access....no matter what. |

how is the Siphon match-up with this economy package? seems like it could be brutal |

It can be dreary since you need the credit advantage. You can recover fine with all the gifts, but the runner just ends up rich as hell. Thats why I'm sure it's not competitive as is. |
Looks quite fun :) Always nice to see Punitive Counterstrike back in Jinteki :) Makes me wonder if I will release an RP Kills 4.0 deck after Order and Chaos =)
BTW, since the Fetal AI is additional cost, they can decline to pay it (even if they have the money) ... that's the ruling I came to (although yes, it will still ping tem for 2 net)
