Los: Moneymaker, tempo taker

Tried Los with bird breakers, hate them so much. Here's my second kick at making this guy work. Thoughts?

Other than the 3 Forged Activation Orders, how are you taking advantage of Los' ability before fully setting up the Baba Yaga suite? Do you have any answers to hitting a Swordsman?

New to the game and didn't think about that haha. Do you think it would make sense to try and add a couple more SOT's to leverage those FAO's more? The birds just seemed so expensive to get started but I watched that hitchcock deck played with them last night and it's pretty clear how much synergy you can generate between them and Los' ability.

The Hitchcock deck pretty much only uses birds as an endgame to further shut the corp down once they've already got the advantage - I'm not sure of how much impact it creates, but it certainly taxes the corp heavily once properly set up. The difference, though, is that it also uses early breakers (Mongoose, Paperclip, and Passport) to be able to apply early pressure and get those Los credits early before either player is fully set up. It also runs Şifr instead of Desperado as its console to economize on breaking and derezzing ice.

Unfortunately, Baba Yaga itself is fairly MU-intensive, costing a total of 4 once fully set up, so conventional breakers isn't a great option if you intend to stick to that route. I usually see the Baba Yaga suite in builds that intend to set up as soon as possible for an unbeatable mid-to-late game (pretty much the Shaper style), which can certainly be accomplished in Criminal (Andromeda comes to mind for that, due to 9 cards helping consistency a lot) but runs counter to more aggressive economy Criminals like Los, Gabe, or Ken.

I would recommend either figuring out a breaker suite that can properly complement the combination of Los and all those ice-rezzing-based economy cards (Compromised Employee and Ice Analyzer are demanding you to make runs), or play the Baba Yaga suite in a different ID.
