My Kate Faustlock deck that has been doing exceptionally well. Some unconventional choices certainly, but trust me. Try it and see. Break SMC for Origami :D

How do you work off only 5 MU? 3 Origamis, Faust, and whatever other support breaker you need?

Why not switch 3 Origami for 2 Public Sympathy?

@Burdle.Jai you typically only need the one support breaker, if that. Mimic is there because of Swordsman, but plays handily with Architect. However if you're running into a lot of Architect, it's probably against HB where the prevalence of Turing means you typically want Cyber-Cypher (it's the only way you can get into a two Turing server). Finally, Lady is there almost exclusively for the NBN Wraparound matchup.

The deck works by pushing the power of Faust to its absolute limit, through sheer overwhelming card draw and the Feedback Implants. The tech breakers are only there for specific situations, but are so good at dealing with those situations (or in the case of CyCy, necessary) that you still want to have them around.

Because you only need the one typically, it means that you can use them as Faust fuel and have your clone chip waiting around to bring out what you need.

With the prevalence of Turing, I'm finding that I need to occasionally overwrite and replay CyCy, which can be a bit awkward since the deck lacks Scavenge. I've considered dropping one Clone Chip for a scavenge, but I'm also thinking of simply swapping CyCy for another breaker. The deck is quite efficient with how it spends its credits, but it might be worth taking a big hit to play a Torch, given that Zu and Blade cost 4-5 to break the dominant Code Gates anyway.

I need to test this deck against Foodcoats more as its massive defensive lineup combined with three copies of Turing isn't something I've faced yet. But given that the deck has tousled with double Turing and Ash and come out alright, I think there are tweaks that could be made if the matchup is rough.

@haywire – agreed.

@Clickbait - You can use that influence for more e3 Feedback Implants or D4v1d or Lucky Find. Also, Turing is a pain for Faust but not game ending. If someone has put double Turing on a server, then that just gives Faust an easier time in another place. Sometimes you just have to be resolved to leave an overprotected server alone and aggressively attack the others .

@haywire because Origami gets you to 14 hand size with all three, costs you nothing to play and isn't a resource

@lroach2 I don't need more e3 honestly. One has been enough as you draw through the deck so fast that you will find it, and it's also not completely necessary as you have enough cards to break stuff. There are games where I haven't even installed it.

D4v1d... maybe. I tried it in the initial builds and I just found I wasn't using it as much as I was Faust. I swapped it for Net-Ready Eyes and found I wasn't even using those. I would honestly go with NRE before I go with D4v1d. As for Lucky Find, the deck doesn't need to spend the influence on it. The deck runs quite cheap, and with your sheer draw power and 3 x Levy, you have access to all the funding you need. The Armitage Codebusting is nice to have in some situations, but again you may never install it.

As for Turing, you need an answer to it. Double Turing creates a server that you cannot get into, which is why CyCy is in the deck. You can't just ignore that as a server since they can just score out of that. Even hammering HQ won't guarantee you getting around it.
