This is one the lists we (myself, SebastianK, and MulganDragon) brought to the third round of Fite Club. The first two rounds we basically just ran Dark Fate, but I can’t go 3 rounds without playing Pravdivost. It started as a more midrange deck that didn’t feel great into what we were expecting, so we took the list we had been running and tweaked it a bit.
Generally you play it about how you’d expect. You spam out as much stuff as possible and try to score an ARES or two, which you can fast advance on turn 2 if they run and you have a Vlad Grid on the table, though generally you want a Marilyn ticking if you’re going that route. If they run Scion you probably want to advance that, otherwise Vlad Grid or Reversed Accounts depending on the gamestate and how your opponent has been playing.
What I enjoyed about this deck was it has a fast advance component with Vlad Grid and the two Scions were just enough punishment to cast some doubt in the runner’s mind. It does rely more on its assets for econ than the original because, while the ID ability is a form of econ, it doesn’t translate directly into credits in your account.
For a more general meta, I’d cut the Swordsman for sure. I’d probably try another Magnet there first, though I think it could have one less ice potentially. 14 influence and running a Daily Business Show or something instead might be worth trying, you don’t really need to use influence since non-NBN cards are always worse than NBN cards.
Also, credit to SebastianK for the sweet name!
