Like I said, kids are cruel, Jack, and I'm very in touch with my inner child.
A slight change of pace for today's countdown deck. This is the corp deck I played at the end of October for our local Costume Party event. Desperado Enforcement LLC. are glad to announce their new security contract with the Blue Sun division of the Weyland Consortium.
In the lead up to the event I was struggling to come up with an idea for a corp using the startup cardpool that was more interesting than just playing some boring EtF deck. Then an idea struck me that was so cruel it would make Sundowner proud: using Blue Sun to recur Anemones for unavoidable damage. I experimented with various shells and agenda suites with the help of @HaverofFun and @Kror but this one ended up coming out on top.
The game plan is to continually tax the runner on cards and credits by rezzing spiky ice on centrals when necessary, while building up a large credit lead to push out an agenda with Punitive backup. Vampy and Anemone are ideal for this purpose, and maybe you'll even make a profit if Vampy's first sub fires. With an ideal setup on a scoring turn, Front Company will force the runner to take damage from an Anemone on a central, and if they do still have the resources to get in, a Fujii on a Tucana threatens another 4 damage on steal by fetching another Anemone. Then bouncing a big ice to guarantee the credit lead helps land the Punitive.
And if you're feeling extra cruel, install a Snare in the remote. If they run it, then great. If they don't, rez it end of turn and bounce it, and watch your opponent's face as they realise what every install from then on could represent.
