This morning I needed to pick a runner deck for a local CO that I was running here in New Hampshire. I wasn't sure exactly what deck to take, but I had built CobraBubbles' recent Lat list about a week ago but hadn't played any games with it.
So I dropped Cleaver, Ika, and 1x Pinhole to put in a Turtle, a third Falsified, and a Paricia.
The idea is an early Aumakua while things are relatively open, then get your other breakers as necessary when purges or you don't have enough virus tokens to deal with big ice. Hopefully all the while charging your Takobi. If you get purged you use your expendable programs to help you rebuild. Falsified helps rebuild quickly and is great extra econ, and Trick shot lets you get extra counters on the way to running the remote.
The deck went 2-1, losing to Punitive RH by scoring out after I made the wrong call to run a taxing remote instead of disarming Archives.
In the last round vs Erika I started the last turn against a scoring Issuaq with the double advanced final 5/3 in the remote behind two rezzed Dataloops with a Daniela installed - I had two cards in had. Stoneship pop to draw two (two cards that didn't really matter, Draw into Trickshot, Draw (into Diesel), Diesel + Anicam got me to 9 cards cards, played Trickshot, accessed two to put the 4th Virus counter on Aumakua, then got to run the remote and break both Data Loops for 1 credit each to steal the Fujii just in time. That was a fun turn where Luck was definitely on my side.
Falsified is just very good as a "do I lose" checker - you name the card you're scared of and if you're right it gives you gas to go fix the problem, and if not it lets you focus on building. Love it.
This is the first Standard tournament that I've won of any size, and it felt pretty great, even if it was only an 8 person event. Thanks to the folks who made it out!
:)
My Corp deck was CephalopodWizard's Sudden Commandment Azmari deck which went undefeated. It just scores so fast!

The lat deck is a strong shell so adding in another shell should work just fine. Seems like a more aggro style which is fun. |

Just came across this through last night's Neon Static stream - glad you're enjoying the deck! Admittedly I think your changes are kinda whack, but you do you :D DMs always welcome if you're looking for tips. |
