ABCD BTL (2nd @ Malmö CO)

DoubleK 833

Plan A - Rush out behind multiple pieces of taxing ICE + tempo-positive agendas + BTL ID + Tucana and try to out-pace the runner.

If the runner gets their rig and enough economy going quickly enough to stop the rush...

Plan B - Lock down the remote with Hyoubu Precog Manifold to score out the final points.

Plan C - Snipe out their key breaker (usually fracter) with Trojan Horse and score out the final points.

Plan D - Pivot into glacier and use the taxing ICE suite, Border Control and Hyoubu to defend. Bluff with high-value NGOs with BTL ID to force taxing runs. Score out the final points once the runner has ran out of steam

MVPs

Standoff and Hostile with Tucana to find taxing ICE for profit feels good.

Archer is excellent in the late 2023 meta. Very few breaker solutions seem to deal with it efficiently. The above combo helps you tutor 3 Archers usually for profit and good tempo.

Hyoubu Precog is a nice remote lock that can't be Pinholed or Light the Fired.

Akhet & Mestnichestvo with Built to Last buffs is great in a longer game . Taxing for the runner and not so much for the corp.

Triple-advanced Pharos is a beast and easy to set up with Built to Last, Akhet and Tree Line.

TOURNAMENT

We played single-sided swiss in a 12-player Malmö CO where this deck got two wins and one timed loss by one point against @Bridgeman. The deck also felt solid in testing with multiple viable game plans that synergise with each other. Esâ with lots of sabotage can be a problem with no Spin Doctors, so try to rush out with Tucana tempo instead and find Border Control on HQ against Chastuska.

Shoutouts to @SciCat for running another great CO, to @MajorGoor and @kagolskab for playtesting, to @Bridgeman for a well deserved tournament win and to all the Swedish & Danish meta Netrunners during the day for good games.

Thanks for reading and Always Be Running!
