No Accounting for Geist

I'm having really close games with this deck, but mostly losing. Any help appreciated.

You don't need GS Shrike M2, Mongoose AND Mimic. I'd cut all the influence "killers". Maybe add in another R&D Interface, Corroder or Clone Chip. Maybe find a way to fit in Special Order and more card draw like Mr. Li or Off-Campus Apartment. Here is my Armand "Geist" Walker: Tech Lord deck - netrunnerdb.com

(It's not perfect, but wins often enough. It'll be better once Sports Hopper comes out.)

Run fall guy, drop sherman and at least 1 decoy. You might want to just use breach and be conservative with your spikes.

@lroach2 It's a G3 Sherman M3 not a shrike, I've found it to be pretty useful but considering a Corroder instead. I've found architect to be a problem hence the mimic add. How do you deal with mimic?

@x3r0h0ur I've had Fall Guy in and it was good, I'm trying Technical Writer instead.

My argument in the whole Technical Writer vs Fall Guy argument is "why not both?" Both are great in Geist, and there's no reasos to not find deck space for them.

Regarding Architect, I like Mongoose there. If you're afraid of stacked sentries, add more Mongoose. You can have two installed ^^

I could have 2 mongoose, good point.

I would love to have both Fall Guy and Technical Writer but its fitting them in.

@ihmcallister - Mongoose is the answer. You don't really need two. Mongoose let's you face check or if you get caught looking at a big sentry at the wrong time. Before Mongoose was avialible most people were using Faerie as the "back-up" Killer. I didn't even notice that you were using GS Sherman M3. IMO GS Shrike M2 is the only one of Sunny's "War Machines" that is worth playing & I just assumed that was what it was. LOL!!

@lroach2 Yeah I think I'll be swapping the Sherman for corroder. I'm not sure about only one real sentry breaker but maybe I just need to time my runs better. I'll be playing a new version of this soon and I'll post it up when I start winning!

Timing is everything with Geist (and indeed any runner, but Geist especially).

I guess generally use my "real" breakers to pressure centrals and my B&E suite to camp remotes, or trash when I need a tempo-boost of a free card and some credits. I'd recommend Drive By, a quite effective tool for counteracting the corp trying to bluff you into their remote and waste breakers.
