The runner deck I took to the first RandomNet jank tourney where we assigned a random runner ID and corp ID, excluding the most popular ID in each faction.
I got assigned Chaos Theory and decided early on to build the False Echo DDOS deck and include the Hyperdrivers to maximise the power turn. The combo for those unfamiliar: the turn you pop DDOS the Corp can't rez the outermost piece of ice so after passing you trash False Echo to make them bounce that ice to their hand. The next piece of ice is now considered the outermost and DDOS prevents the rez so provided you have enough False Echos and/or Clone Chips you can repeat this until there is only one piece of ice on R+D which still can't be rezzed. This is all done on your "power turn" where you pop all the Hyperdrivers and any All-Nighters you've installed and then make alternating Keyhole and Medium runs until you either steal enough points/trash enough points in archives or a combination of the two and win.
The game plan is to get the 3 hyperdriver hosted on Leprechauns as soon as possible along with a Medium and Keyhole. Personal Workshop really helps with this and the econ cards Dirty Laundry and Daily Casts help make some money on the side in case you need to accelerate paying off Workshop. Usually I draw twice, or am playing QT or Diesel.
The deck went 3-1 on the day, only loss coming to PE who had a Ronin waiting and was flatlined when I got over zealous hosting cards on Workshop and went down to 2 cards in hand. Other than that, it got set up really quickly and won on the power turn except against SYNC where thanks to News Teams I only got to 6 and had to aggressively poke HQ until I got the final point. A lot of fun but would be destroyed by a CVS (luckily the jank Corp decks didn't pack any) or tagging to trash the workshop without requiring a run

It was a less serious tournament so I didn't see any of those horrible green cards. If I were to be tagged, I could hopefully at least spend to get everything (or as much as possible) off the workshops before the trash :) |
Against any green decks atm I'd also be scared of Mills (and to a lesser extent Corporate Town), as they like to pack those as AnarchHate. Still, you can avoid by not having anything too important on Workshop on their turn.
