This is my version of a Quetzal deck.
It was my worse performing deck for the day (but since my corp deck only lost once that was not hard to do.)
The idea is to get Darwin up and running with recurring credits as early as possible (Mulligan for Diesel or Djinn or Darwin), feed him with the feeders and run early and often. Darwin only needs to get to 4 since David and E3 will take care of the rest.
The deck gets to a point really quickly where it can get in wherever it wants. When the corp purges they usually don't get as much time as they think since you can drop personal touches or surge (MVP of the day) and get in anyway.
Two games this deck just lost (RP without an early E3 hurts a lot.
Two games I got to 6 points and was racing against scorch combos and they got the combo before I could get the last point (whiffing about 4 or 5 accesses).
O&C will help this deck allowing for I've Had Worse instead of Diesel (and giving more damage protection to boot!) which will allow for the third e3 and Personal touch.
Give this deck a shot!

Swordsman, and it helps against Jinteki's sentries. Saving a credit per Komainu or Tsurugi is REALLY helpful. |

Agreed: the shenanigans Eater can pull with the cutlery events and Account Siphon/Wanton Destruction are going to make Swordsman a bit more common than it used to be. While it may be a turn spent purging viruses, are you not worried by the fact that's all it takes to derail your main icebreaker and open Corp scoring windows? |

No I am not. Between Personal Touch and Surge I was at most kept out for a single turn, which was the turn they purged. Often it went like this: Corp: Purge Me: Okay feed Darwin he's at one now, get money and set up in various ways Corp: Install advance, advance Me: Feed Darwin to 2, Surge him to four, run and steal the agenda. |
This deck went 2-4 on the day overall
