'Hey boss, ya heard 'bout the new Runner? Thinks he's some hotshot tryna mess with our toys.'
Trying my hand at a Jemison deck in my hubris, I realised that I had probably constructed my favourite Outfit deck instead. Yes, Sacrifice is binder fodder for most players for good reason, but hubris has a way of blinding one with pride. Well, after learning my lesson the hard way, I swapped out the ID to The Outfit, and I suddenly had a deck that wasn't terrible anymore.
'Bad publicity? What, the public don't like us or somethin'? Don't worry about that, boss. There's a reason none of them ain't got the guts to stand up to us. He'll be danglin' somewhere everyone's gonna see.'
While not significantly different from the other Outfit decks, Snare, Colossus and EotL are there to open up a tag-punish game that is matched with the agenda pressure brought to bear on the Runner by RegCap and Broad Daylight. Indeed, it is the latter card that keeps the Runner on his toes, always worrying that he'll lose that stupid deck lengthener in his hand.
'Good idea, boss. Send the plans we don't need back to the knuckleheads.'
The key card, really, is Sprint. Without it, the R&D is simply not threatening enough when the Snares have been drawn. Of course, this is more effective during the late game, but those 4 to 5 agendas in your hand cannot wait for a Spin Doctor to show up.
'You know what they say, boss: love your work. We certainly do here, at the Family.'
This deck is almost certainly not meant for competitions (or, at least, I don't care to know if it is), but the look on the unsuspecting Runner's face when he hits a Snare! cannot be beat. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop anyone using this. Have fun!
