Reckless Stealing - Swiss Regionals 2015 - Second Place

Elstyr 366

Pretty basic "stealing ain't that hard" deck with some updates. Straight forward pressure once you made some credits and have a tutor. It worked really well and won 5 games out of 7, securing me the second place during the Regionals in Zurich.

The Corps' game-play slowing down since the last couple of data packs makes set up even easier and enabled turns like Account Siphon, Legwork, Indexing, run RnD possible more often than I though.

It's aggressivity was the perfect match for my PE deck that took a bit longer to play: http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/22632/watching-them-die-swiss-regionals-2015-second-place

My opponents:

  • Titan (victory)
  • NEH (victory)
  • HB:EtF (victory)
  • RP (victory)
  • RP (defeat in 12 minutes, perfect card flow on his side. I couldn't find neither money nor tutors)
  • RP (victory)
  • NEH (unlucky defeat, saw two NAPDs in RnD that I couldn't pay, missed the winning Agenda in HQ with Legwork twice).

I like this, will give it a spin. Any changes you would make? Are three CCs necessary?

Yes, the three copies of Clone Chip are necessary to guaranty faster set-up (by recursing SMC) and to recycle the silver bullet programs (Deus X and Sharpshooter. Also, depending on the game state, you might need to trash a program due to limited memory from time to time.

I took this deck to the German nationals with the following changes that I think improved it:

I only ever installed the The Toolbox when I was already winning the game. The Astrolabe is enough memory wise and helps speed up the deck. One copy of Net-Ready Eyes seemed enough, as I drew through my deck quite quickly.

This deck is über-aggressive with a lot of pressure on centrals early game and all the breakers needed for the late game. The only games I lost were to RP with a perfect start and me struggling to find Magnum Opus.

I hope you enjoy playing this. I always do :-)

I'm thinking about removing one R&D Interface or an Indexing and replacing it with Escher, which should be quite helpful for the RP match up. Any thoughts?
