I think the point is to keep them from wanting to trash the pads and sundews and server diagnostics, rather than just taxing them money. He seems to be going for the psychologic impact of encryption protocol. I would drop 1 archer and 3 paper wall for 2 corporate troubleshooters and 1 wall of static. It varies your ice strength, and troubleshooter with archer is a sick surprise, especially out of RP. Everyone just thinks its a hokusai grid. When the programs are trashed, the ice with bite (sentries) are worth oh so much more than when the breakers are out. It also lets you set up a 2 card server (archer/grim + CT) just to destroy their programs...hilarious. |
How about -3 Encryption Protocol and +3 Viper? It will potentially cost the runner more than the 1 extra to trash.
