Guarding the Docklands

This is my attempt at making a Never Advance deck that uses Docklands Crackdown to slow down the runner. Initial testing has been pretty positive with the deck coming in at 3-1 against a variety of runners.

Playing Docklands told me I wanted to be taxing, to have a lot of ICE, and to have it be affordable. That meant mid-range HB. Since I was playing so much ICE, I opted for NEXT.

Issues: I want more ICE (22?) and a third Ash, and I want more early game ETRs. Not sure what to cut. Restructure? I'd feel pretty poor. Maybe -1 Archer -1 Restructure +2 Ice Wall? So many weak barriers though...Quandry would feel like too much Code Gate.

Card Choices: Docklands Crackdown: I really didn't like this card at first, but it's grown on me over time. If you can set up fast enough and get it behind some moderate protection it'll grind the runner down trying to deal with it. It does not slot easily into most deck types to I decided to try and build around it.

NEXT Design: EtF might be better for this deck. The Influence could buff the ICE choices a bit and the money would be welcome. So far the fast set-up has been helpful, but not clutch. I'll probably test it in both to see which I end up liking more.

Executive Boot Camp: Really just another Docklands, via tutoring. If Blackmail becomes super popular then swapping Archer for two more is reasonable. Until then, it's fine how it is. If I already have a Docklands it's just some small economy.

Peak Efficiency: Wow, okay, another card I thought was crappy until I tried it. This is how you power Ash in the late game. This deck has a ton of ICE and rezzes a lot of it, and Peak can net you 5-8 credits later on. Since Ash is your win condition this is a big deal. You might need to throw them away early and bring them back with Jackson.

Pet Project: Not sure if this is considered a weird choice, but I don't see a lot of people playing this. I love this card. Retrieve Jackson, restore trashed ICE, get back a Docklands, or just save clicks. After that it's easy Archer fodder.

Kudos for the ingenuity, but I feel like if Docklands Crackdown would be playable anywhere it would be Replicating Perfection (or some janky Industrial Genomics).

I agree that RP is a strong (or stronger) choice, but I'm going to try it in a few archetypes and see what I end up with the most success.
