Push out ICE early and aim to score a quick Vitruvius/ABT to force the runner to play by your rules.
This is a slower version of my previous deck. Whereas before the goal was to apply constant rapid pressure, this deck tries to push into the midgame as fast as possible and then hold it there, continuing to build ice fortresses and then open scoring windows when a runner has to deal with your Janus or Wotan.
Opening strategy:
Ideally you want to have some cheap ICE or one of your cheat operations (BER/Oversight) to dump out some ICE before your first turn. If you have limited options in terms of usable early ICE, prioritize likely targets depending on runner (HQ for Criminal and R&D for everyone else).
ICE Rationale:
A good mix of heavy and cheap ICE, though with the cheaters they're all essentially cheap. I used to think Howler was bad because runners can just jack out, but that can open opportunities for you to score. Many runners will run at you on their last click with so many clickable ICE.
I'm still clinging to the NEXT Bronzes since they're super cheap ETRs that force the runner to dig out their code breaker, though I might swap them out for something else. I'm really looking forward to more NEXT Ice being released.
Ice Wall is just sorta there. They can easily be replaced with Wall of Static/Paper Wall if influence is needed elsewhere.
Other Considerations:
Dumped out Ash. They can serve as additional bait early on, but with so many assets I don't think that's necessary. I'm also starting to see a lot of links out there. The key with this deck is to stop them at the Ice.
I still really like the idea of Biotic Labour for a quick advance, especially with the more solid econ, but I'm not sure what to exchange for it.
Thanks to temporar for their suggestions
