Swifty Lat (2nd @ 2nd Fly to EMEA)

AlPi 925

I'm very happy with the current state of Swift Lat. It has enough tools to fight against asset spam decks and it is still a doomrig shaper, so I'm also happy to play against a glacier deck.

The deck is also so easy to play, it almost plays itself. If you're newer to the standard format, I 100% recommend this deck!

You can move the influence around depending on the meta. If fast advance decks take over: Clot fits the deck very well.

For DJ Fenris:

  1. If you draw it early, or you are against a rushy deck (for example PD) go DJ Sable.
  2. If you draw it early, and you're against an asset spam deck try DJ Loup.
  3. If you draw it a bit late or/and HQ is runnable go DJ Steve.

I can't make it to the third Fly to EMEA event, but the first two were amazing to play in! A huge thx to the organizers!

My corp for the tournament: Bombs and Guns Nuvem v2

Hi there! I'm a beginner, so pardon me if it's a silly question but: why the Propeller? Isn't Cleaver a more sustainable option? Propeller is cheaper to install but after a couple of runs might be down in power counters, especially if you don't have Turbine in the rig.

Thank you! :)

I think Propeller is here to overcome those barriers that would be very expensive for Cleaver (that is also included!), like a triple advanced Pharos. But I guess without Hush or a bypass the deck would still suffer from a barrier with high STR, like Pharos or a late game Logjam.

it also kinda lets you get echelon to higher breakpoint to break 6str sentries like hydra and cloud eater-

@TheLegionThe answers you got above are indeed the most important reasons why Propellor:

-Brings youre Echelon to 6 strength if the full rig is installed, even if there are no power counters left it still counts as an icebreaker.

-If you face very high strength barriers Propeller is the best way to still get a Deep Dive of. You can use Simulchip to trash it and install it back to reset the power counters.

Thank you all for the answers, very clear :)

Now, this is netrunner again. Yay!

I've been playing various versions of deep dive lat since worlds and have had excellent success, thanks for the deck lists!

I do have a play question that hopefully a better netrunner player than me already has some wisdom on: how do you approach a match against new rushy NBN decks? I've had big problems with big oppo after an unfortunately timed steal during the early game.

I assume that I need to really change my play patterns against such NBN decks and be really careful with early runs before I have the economy to deal with any issues that arise. I have been struggling to mesh that concept with bahia bands and dirty laundry though

@.dan._ NBN is a hard matchup for sure. Against Azmari, play a bit slower. You prob use dirty laundry en BBands for basic value on Archives. Against R+ or NEH I hard mulligan to find a Swift or Miss Bones in my opening hand. I often check remotes so the corp can't score an AR-Enhanced Security. Balancing checking remotes and building up econ is super hard, you need to practise this a lot. Try to get value out of BBands by removing a tag and using the 4 credits to trash something. And I know if you dirty laundry on a spin its very bad but try to take that risk sometimes. Most of the time there is a point you go full tag me, who cares if you have 20 tags if you win by a Deep Dive. With the Bellona ban coming soon these matchups will get better in general, don't worry about it :D
