Moulin à Sentinelles

Diogene 4245

Jinteki Rig Shooter. Nasty as only Jinteki can be.

Game plan.

  1. Trash the Sentry breaker. Use Trojan Horse or Marcus Batty for that.

  2. Make sure the Sentry breaker does not come back with Ark Lockdown.

  3. Trash Engolo or the AI breaker, if it is on the board.

  4. Win the game.

Palana ID will insure a steady income, being worth about 15 to 20 creds. The usual neutral income are in the deck (NGO, Rashida, Hedge F., IPO) and Mental Health Clinic to give you extra income and get credit differential if the runner trash it.

Mumbad Virtual Tour is only there for credit differential. Costing a whopping 5 creds to the runner, after a run, will let you land Trojan Horse more easily.

Aimor, Viral Weaponization and Obotaka Protocol will put a lot of cards in the heap. From there, you can easily use Ark Lockdown to get rid of any Sentry breaker. Possibly, it could also put whatever other breaker the runner was planning to use.

With Marcus Batty, you have 2/3 chance of winning, thus being able to trash the sentry breaker. On a rare occasion, you can trigger the nasty Cobra or Mlinzi sub to flatline the runner.

Preemptive Action will let you get Batty and Ark back.

There are not barrier or code gate here. Breakers are most efficient in breaking those. Unless the runner is using Bukhgalter, Anansi and Mlinzi are pretty expensive to break. And letting them fire will cause major damage to the runner.

Bacterial Programming will let you set up the condition of the game for the next 2-3 turns. This should allow you to prevent a steal and to get the creds necessary to put the game plan in place.

While rig shooting might not be the strongest archetype, it is quite viable. I did a rig shooter in green with The Outfit. This red version is more expensive (sentry ices are not cheap), but very solid. Few runner carry more 2x of their sentry breaker, and most runner carry only 1x of their sentry and AI breaker (or Engolo) in the current meta.

The title mean : Sentry mill (approximate translation).
