Went 2-1 - losing to a Foundry kill deck. I played like an idiot and my opponent played pretty well - so yeah. Went 5-1 overall.
So yeah, Geist is bad and Andy is still the queen. The ability to have a bursty start as opposed to a good midgame is absolutely critical in a deck like this, where your start is so slow. The meta is pretty fast right now, and while Inside Jobs get you so far - you have to get things going fast.
The central breakers offer that pressure. Getting 1 of each interface out suddenly means that with your central breakers you can do serious damage. Hit R&D and create a lock, sweep the hand - the choices are endless. Corroder is also there to offer pressure to remotes to those corps who choose to use Wraparound or NEXT Silvers as their only remote protection. Also Breach isn't that fantastic. It's OK - but it's not fantastic.
The weapon breaker's primary advantage is surprise. People still haven't really figured out that you can often end up getting into servers for a single credit. They essentially all turn into money cards, breaking incredibly high strength ICE for no money at all. That's why it's even half justifiable to run so many deck slots towards the things.
The primary weakness of this deck is Caprice / Ash / all that jazz. I haven't included Drive By since well...it's not that good. The important stuff now people just rez off the bat, so you can't gun them down. It's not worth the deck slot. Gang Sign on the other hand - comboed with HQ Interface - hilarious stuff. Means that corps can't clump agendas in hand or they suffer.

I like Armitage as well, but Daily I think is better in this deck for two main reasons. 1) Synergy with Career Fair 2) Click compression. You spend a disgusting amount of time with this deck just drawing and installing. Getting the money without spending clicks to get it off it so insane. |
Personally i prefer armitage to daily casts.
