Safety First seems like an odd choice i would have though Always Be Running would have been a better one as it allows you through any ICE with the e3 Feedback Implants. |

My thinking on the matter is that Apex simply doesn't have enough card draw. My experience with him so far is that he is always under hand size and always wasting clicks to draw up. Safety First + Brain Cage lets you sit at 5/6 hand size comfortably thanks to Heartbeat and it lets you not lose tempo from Apex's ability. Always Be Running gets you through more stuff certainly. But it also carries the caveat that you will be spending one click a turn running every. single. turn. You also will occasionally spend three clicks and a handful of credits to get through one piece of ice. The only thing I don't like about Safety First is that you do honestly care if you get tagged up and it gets trashed. It is probably the only real reason why you care about tags at all. |

Seeing as you can't install Daily Casts, there's probably a better option. Which is sad, because it makes way more thematic sense than many of the things Apex is allowed to do.
I would totally watch a cast put out by a sentient AI that exists only to destroy.
