The genesis of this deck was simply noticing that Net Mercur was a virtual resource. I also like Apex. I did not expect this to work. At all. While it is definitely going to need further testing I've found that so far on jinteki.net it's done pretty okay for itself.

Card Choices:

Dyson Mem Chip - Honestly, in my experience I tend to have spare money as Apex. Your main breaker is free to use (and in the case of #Wasteland will actually make money or help break even) so you can splurge on the higher end mem(e) chip. It's also influence free. Coincidence? No.

Heartbeat - No recurring stealth credits means #Mirror wouldn't do jack. Thanks to finite resources you are also trying to snipe your runs, so R&D would have to be pretty much unprotected to be worth it. Also, you know, influence. Damage defense is always good.

Houdini + Refractor - This is a meta dependent choice, plain and simple. If you're not seeing Jinteki and want to just have two Refractors you can drop The Turning Wheel and throw in a Cloak.

Apocalypse - Now I know what you're thinking. "Apocalypse? But that'd get rid of all your stealth programs! That's a nonbo you shmuck! Get that hot trash outta here!" And while you've clearly hurt my feelings and we need to talk about the quality of our friendship, remember one of the negatives up there? Stealth takes a while to set up. An early apocalypse is a very real threat. Once you start setting up you have to start making difficult choices, but remember that you're still APEX. It'll probably hurt them more than it'll hurt you.

Exclusive Party - You're an internet celebrity now and they keep bringing you on Co-optional Podcast and yes it's horrible but you can feel comfortable knowing they'll be the first to fall when the network is yours. Fodder and creds in one great combo. You can probably replace them with a Levy if you are a coward.
