The Gom Jabbar (Braniac upgraded to 49 cards)

"You've heard of animals chewing off a leg to escape a trap? There's an animal kind of trick. A human would remain in the trap, endure the pain, feigning death that he might kill the trapper and remove a threat to his kind."
Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, testing Paul Atreides with the Gom Jabbar.

After the Rio de Janeiro tournament playing with Braniac and seeing too much agendas, I changed to 49 cards. With this change, I could add more ICE to protect my centrals from ultra aggressive decks and I'm seeing way less agendas. The deck got a full glacier style with enough pressure to reduce the runner hands to dust. Here are the changes:

"The Spice must flow"
Melange Mining Corp. is awesome here. It forces even decks that barely run (Valencia/Noise) to go to our server, providing you opportunity to rez ices of your remote and making Blackmail a less fearful card. Always remember: “He who controls the spice controls the universe.”

"Now, it's complete because it's ended here."
NEXT suite is awesome. Its cheap, it gets progressively better during the game and provide a great protection for our centrals in the early game or to rush a Melange Mining Corp. or a Self-Destruct Chips remote. Besides, it comes with another great card

“A killer with the manners of a rabbit - this is the most dangerous kind.”
NEXT Gold is pretty awesome here. Thats because a 2/3 net damage may be enough here. So it becomes a threat really early in the game.

“Knowing where the trap is-- that's the first step in evading it.”
Go for a long game and take your time creating your remote. Valley Grid, Ash 2X3ZB9CY and 2/3 ICE is enough to make it impossible to run. Protect your centrals and keep patient. Keep the spice flowing.

"Fear is the mind-killer"
With these new tools, your scoring remote will induce fear in the runner's mind as soon as you have 3 ICE and a load of upgrades. Use this fear to create bad situations for the runner on your centrals like Heimdall 1.0, NEXT Gold, Valley Grid and Ryon Knight, since they will be attacked relentless. Do not keep too much agendas in your hands for too long. Be bold, go for naked Self-Destruct Chips if you have multiple at your hands. Buy cards until you grab an agenda and install in your remote. Play the long game and force the runner a bad play.

“Hope clouds observation.”
A very easy mistake that I do more than I wanted is always try to land a brain damage instead of score an agenda. Forget this. Go and score agendas every single time you can. Always. Do not hold agendas in your hand to add a Ryon Knight trap or something. Scoring agendas is even more fear inducing that landing a brain damage.

"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
This deck is still in constant iteration and changes, but I'm pretty happy with this current iteration. The glacier that induce flatline fear just like Supermodernism is a gameplay style that I always enjoyed. The 49 cards helped this deck a lot and I'm pretty sure this deck can become something better. Maybe even competitive. Hope to hear all feedback and help form you guys.

Build the perfect counterpart for this deck and name it The Kwisatz Haderach.

Have you considered Marcus Batty in this? He goes well with NEXT Gold, Viktor 1.0 and if you found room for Heimdall 2.0 his second sub is great.

@WhackedMaki Yes I have. I will probably use him and remove all Neural EMP. It will help going for a full brain damage suite.
