Topped a 4 person store champ. going 2-1
First round was Andysucker featuring Sifr, i opened double biotic and quickly got into campaigns, was on 4 points when he found rebirth, so he rebirthed into Ian. most integral turn came from a turn he siphoned me to 2 or 3 credits, and I had a jeeves rezed, drew into a hedgefund, click for 3, hedge fund. he siphons again, draw a second hedgefund, click for 3, hedge again. he was basically locked out the whole game. because I like code gates and datasuckers were difficult to charge.
round 2 was goodstuff connection leela, she hits hard, I hit back, shes locked out for a bit but has kati, we both get to six, last turn of the game I have like 6 cards in rnd, and am holding the biotic but have like 5 credits, so im forced to get money up, forgot to pay attention to turning wheel, it has 8 counters, I install jackson in the remote with rezzed ash, and money up hoping to force a run or something, he just hits my hand expending his whole turn to see the whole thing and I lose, should have done the math on the remote, he coundnt get in and his rumor mill was already burned.
round 3 is against Jesminder, as usal ice around the world, do some minior asset spamming, get rich, icing up hq while he trys to set up and start jamming agendas in the remote, all he has is shrike at this point, so rushing the agendas is pretty easy, dont remember much else from this game, but it was over quick.
generally if they dont interrupt you, you win on turn 13, especially if you draw a food and stick a jeeves, as always remember just cause they can get the agenda, doesn't mean theyll try, or even think its an agenda. Lizzy helps the anarch war machine matchups, helps with shaper jank, and cleans up bad pub. if you burn down wyldside napd is a very easy 2/5 because the anarchs lose alot of steam, sometimes permanently. noise hates when you burn down his aesop and start recurring lizzy. Archived memories is played to guarantee recur biotic, friends in high places, and anything else you really need at the time. use to play 3 napd, but i wanted more beta test to make FA heavy games easier to score out of. might try zed 2.0 over viper, but zeds only good sometimes and really positional(you need him early) and only costs 4 to shrike for a 6 rez, might as well pay 1 more for assassin,you dont kill sifr or do brain damage, but it costs 6 to shrike and gets flatlines, or taxes credits early game like viper.

I mentioned Zed 2.0 at the end a bit, I would playit over viper, however I really dont like him because he is a positional piece of ice, and he only costs 4 to GS Shrike M2 and also does nothing to help an atman based strat matchup. Also,at a 6 rez, I would prefer something more frightening such as Assassin who can tax like viper taxes(forcing people to pay through traces in the early game, and reasonable late game tax) and get occasional flat-lines or Ichi 2.0 because it brings variety to the ice strength. |
Nice to see ICE base decks still around despite Şifr , would you try a copy of Zed 2.0 as one of the ice ?
