I have had a lot of fun with Reaver out of Shaper recently, and figured the best way to improve 3 credits and a draw at the start of each turn would be an additional 9 credits (thanks to data folding, underworld contacts and Jak Sinclair/Nexus/Power tap combo).

This deck doesn't do much in the early game, and I doubt it would stand a chance against any really fast corp decks, but if they don't manage to score out once you have your key pieces on the board, they will seriously struggle to find a scoring window again.

You can't be afraid to pawn off cards that you have multiple copies of that are not doing work in the early game (Jak Sinclair, Citadel Sanctuary). However, don't trash the Construct as it's your only protection for Reaver (something I am a little wary of).

Security chips are typically influence free Aesop's and Reaver food, though keeping one on the board makes getting into practically any server stupidly cheap. Sports hopper is amazing out of this deck, giving you even more link and 4 fresh cards. Fire it off on the corps turn to make even more use of Reaver.

Globalsec Security Clearance and Adjusted Chronotype lets you know when to run, and Freedom Through Equality wins games. If you are set up you should have a mountain of credits when you need to run. I don't have any anti-upgrade cards as the sheer amount of credits and link shuts down everything but Batty and Caprice. You may want to include a PolOp and Councilman or two depending on your meta.

If the corp has no fast advance answers to you and Reaver is not at the bottom of your deck, you will be sat on 30+ credits by turn 10-13 if you just draw like crazy in the early game.

The deck's current weakness (and it could be a big one) is Breaking news into All Seeing I. If this was big in my local meta I would lose Adjusted Chronotype, both Globalsec Security Clearance and Freedom Through Equality to include 1 Film Critic, 2 NACH and an Employee Strike.

I love what you are trying here but I am worried you are setting yourself up for a lot of heartbreak building around a 1-of card in a 50 card deck. Without Reaver already online, you have basically no draw engine. So how are you going to find Reaver?

I think most corp decks are going to be fast enough to race you.

I like the synergy between Reaver and Sunny: Sunny doesn't need MU for icebreakers, so why not build around a wonderful program that does need mu.

My suggestion would be to potentially cut some influence and include some Self-modifying Codes for more consistency. Probably either Rabbit Hole or Power Tap and then also possibly Adjusted Chronotype and Sac Con.

This would also give you some deck space to make room for NACH and Employee Strike if you were into that.

I worry that even then the influence is a little tight. Finding room for something like a medium would be really good but I'm not sure how to make that happen.

Anyway, good luck with the deck. I would love to hear updates about how it is doing.

After playtesting some more I totally think your shout to remove rabbit hole is a good one, I already have 4-5 link with the console and sports hoppers. That buys me 2 SMC and a card slot.

Also adjusted chronotype, whilst nice, was not that game changing. If you get the lock you only need 2 clicks (play freedom of equality, run). I can happily drop that. And I can fit some NACH in there too now!

Thanks for the suggestions, I just played a game with reaver as the second to last card in the stack. Heartbreak was real.

When I played Oracle before I used Motivation also. May help you but with the conspiracy breakers you have a way. Motivation might save you money.

Why not run Reaver right next to Off Campus Apartments and a ton of connections?

@MyriadThat sounds really fun, the only issue I forsee is that my buddy really likes Blue Sun and Lizzie Mills has beef with people living Off Campus it seems..

Fall Guy is a thing. Fall Guy also triggers Reaver and can be used to gain two credits and two cards in other match ups.
