Yes I know it's called core damage now, don't @ me.
My main gripe with Esâ is that you really need to be triggering xir ability as often as humanly possible. If you only hit it every other turn or so the corp will have the opportunity to recover, but it's not really sustainable unless you've got a way to keep your max hand size up. Marrow is fine I guess, but I've never really felt happy playing it over another console.
Using Obelus with Esâ isn't exactly a new idea, but those decks tend to lean harder into closing out the game with Counter Surveillance over applying pressure with sabotage. Which, fair, is a totally legitimate way to play Esâ, (and our deck ends up looking quite a bit like that deck anyway), it's just not what we're setting out to do here.
So here's the strategy: Take core damage every turn, smother yourself in tags, and never ever stop. This deck is a little rough around the edges, but I've played it to moderate success on jnet. I fully expect this deck to get a significant boost once the next borealis set drops and we (hopefully) get more core damage support.
