Meeting of the Minds v.1.0

Do you hate that Plascrete Carapace is a dead draw against half your matchups? Do you like to draw and counting how many cards you have in hand constantly? How about struggling to keep track of your current hand size? Then do I have the deck for you!!

~experiences may vary, if your opponent has a sudden jump in credits look for evidence of Sweeps Week. Use protection before encountering a Komainu or Psychic Field, seek a doctor immediately for anti-depressants if no protection was used.

If this sounds right for you, ask about MotMv1! "Don't worry, I've got the card somewhere in my grip."-Me

The idea behind the deck is to exploit the interaction between Ekomind and Overmind. The problem with this plan however is set up time. To counter this I've been playing Quetzal for her early aggression along with Knight. Most corps are unwilling to try to install their agenda's when all they see is a Quetzal with E3s and a Knight out whose spent the entire game drawing. Late game laugh as supposedly "well-defended"servers are broken into with ease as you use Knight, D4V1D, or your Quetzal ability on anything high strength and Overmind on anything low strength. Late game I have broken into 6 ICE deep servers for 12 credits, the efficiency of your runs is amazing. Use this efficiency to your advantage to make constant RnD or HQ runs

There are three problem cards though. Sweeps Week will leave the corp with all the money they could want when you have 12+ cards in hand. Komainu will cause you to not only get rid of your entire hand, but your rig and more than likely your deck will be gone as well because you've drawn everything. Similar problems with Psychic Field.

Solutions: Sweeps week gets Imped away. They may still get it off early before you start hitting HQ and RnD but then you'll probably have sub 10 cards in hand rather than 11+. Psychic Fields get prevented with Deus X. Similar story with Komainu. Use Deus X to break and then parasite it away.

At the beginning of the game you just want to draw using Professional Contacts and install a Knight and E3. Run on Remotes if you think they're trying to sneak an agenda out. Otherwise just keep drawing, loading up Kati and installing things to get your rig together. The ideal turn is simply: ProCo, ProCo, click Kati, install. The first Overmind comes out with approximately 5-7 counters on it. After you're set up, just start hitting the centrals, Imping away any combo pieces and Sweeps.

I will admit that I feel uncomfortable having my only recursion being 2x Deja Vu, but I use them so rarely that in some ways I feel like they should be cut. They could be replaced with Retrieval Run's considering over half the deck is programs but I've kept them anyway. I've also debated dropping 1 Medium and 1 Nerve Agent for 2x Djinn but have found it to be unnecessary as I don't need the Djinn to save memory and a Djinn with all of my Origami's hosted on it then just becomes a huge target for any program trashing.

In the future I plan on dropping 3xProfessional Contacts and 2xDeja Vu for 2xSage and 3xEarthrise Hotel. I'll probably try to fit in some more economy, I'm just not sure what yet.

Try the deck, I've found it to be a lot of fun, maybe not competitive yet, but I can almost guarantee I'll be trying to get it up there.

I like the idea and I feel it's the first stable version I see of an Ekomind, Origami, Overmind combo ... Here is an idea for you though, u might throw in a Femme , or 2, because I'm really not sold on the 3x ProCo

Your deck looks nice, I like the idea but I still think that you have too many programs that can reduce the free MUs, making your combo less powerful.

Origami increases your hand by 1, so it gives you 1 extra MU but it also consumes 1 MU so it´s not very useful here, isn´t it?

Also, I would think about more recursion and less programs, maybe include some tutor to search for your Overmind in the best moment?

Anyway, these are just my suggestions at first sight, but overall I think it´s a great idea

@Dydra Originally I had 2x Femme and only 1 Deus X but dropped them because I didn't like the 9 credit hit that installing them took. If you were to do that I would suggest Retrieval Run over Deja Vu. I like the 3xProCo because I am drawing so much that I want to see it early so that I can get a credit at the same time.

@seiya Most of the programs just end up getting held in hand anyway and only installed if I need it. The final rig is generally 3xOrigami, 1 Overmind, 1 Knight and either a second Knight or D4V1D. Your right about Origami, when only one is installed. If two are installed it's +4 hand size = +2 MU. If three are its +9 hand size = +6 MU. And I disagree about the tutor. The only tutor I could reasonably get is Special Order, and even then for this deck, I'm not just spending the click and credits, but it's also essentially costing me 1 MU because I have 1 less card in hand after installation. Instead I've just gone with the Traditional Anarch method of Tutoring: Redundant copies and draw power.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Agreed on MU issues. I think this is a great start but I'd definitely find room for Stimhacks. She is a 'free spirit' after all XD

Hmm, your right, I hadn't really considered it before. It isn't like the brain damage would really hurt me. My biggest problem in many ways is that I don't think I'd use most of the credits. And it just feels wrong to me to not use them.
