So ... I've been wanting to play Grail into CI and here is my first take on it.

The first thing you would notice is that I don't play the 9 influence grail. The reasons being are that:

1) The Net damage you could dish out from Merlin is just too sweet opportunity to pass on, as a winning condition. Therefore I'e added 3 neural EMPs

2) Because Eli 1.0 is a solid barrier ICE, the "knight" from the round table that that "had to go" was Galahad ;)

3) Shipment from SanSan with Efficiency Committee - it's just like not playing Astro in a NBN deck.

If the Neural EMPs don't flat-line as much as intended (with the combo from Merlin) some Rework will be put in this deck ;) It's an amazing card and I think it fits greatly in CI (together with Jinteki)

Also I'd really like to see if I can fit in some IQ's or/and Ashigaru :) seems really interesting options with Accelerated Beta Test and maybe a Biofrost Array actions ;)

I'm really enjoying the Grail ICE in my NEXT Design deck. I don't have Merlin in there, but 3x Galahad and 3x Lancelot has been wondrous. With a single Lancelot in hand, All the Galahads become destroyers that are not destroyers or Sentries. Inverted, the Lancelots become ETR destroyers, which are pretty great.

Admittedly, if they have SMC they can just as easily search a corroder as a sharpshooter, but I still say it's good.

I do like the look of the deck though. I've always found CI a bit dull, but the extra flatline threat would certainly spice things up!
