Lucky Kit

KingOfOdonata 216

So I've been toying around with a Refractor based Kit deck, with a bit of utility. I've yet to test this particular build. I would like more utility cards, but stealth itself takes up so many card slots. I really like the idea of being able to pull some of the really efficient breakers and stuff here. I have found with other recurring credit decks that you don't often have money to trash cards, so I tried to heavily improve the economy here to accommodate that. I also notice that one doesn't usually have a lot of credits to put into more expensive cards up front, so I decided to utilize Dirty Laundry and Lucky Find for the cheap initial cost.

Also, my logic for Lucky Find over Katie Jones or even Magnum Opus (which has a steep MU costs anyways) was Lucky Find nets me 6 credits in two clicks. To make that same amount with Katie, I would have to spend 5 clicks on her total to net 7 (which includes the click to install). Due to the sheer aggressiveness of Kit and the tight clock she has, I felt she needs burst economy over any other type.

If you are going to use 3x Ghost Runner & 3x Cloak, along with 3x Lockpick, then go ahead & use 2x Dagger instead of Mimic & Femme. IMO. =)

BTW - I'd use that 2 influence to grab a Corroder. (Drop Atman, since you aren't using Datasucker) I'd probably drop Legwork to have 2x Corroder.

Opps! I didn't realize you were using "Lady" for Barriers. I guess you could just have 2x Legwork. I'm still drop Atman. Sorry for all the comments. =)

Well, I tried it with Switchblade originally. The efficiency is nuts, but it pushes the Stealth credits too far. I switched to these two on the suggestion of one of out top players. I may not need as many Stealth Credits now honestly, but I'll make that call later. I could see dropping Ghost Runners. At the very least, Cloaks still work for the other breakers. I could try Omnidrive instead of the Mem Chips if I remove the Ghost Runners. And then some more economy. The Atman is there as a utility breaker. Usually there is at least one strength of ICE that is common on the board. Also, I can use it to set its strength at an ICE that is causing issues in a server. Also, it works well with Scavenge.
