Blackguard money rules in sin city

Nestor 7

Used an earlier version of this to win a local micro tournament (10-12 people).

Anyhoo. The idea is to pummel the corp by running frequently, drain their cash by rezzing stuff they don't want. Plus, run on HQ, each time check for installed stuff, to make sure you don't run into #cerebral overwriter or edge of the world ;-)

Forged activation orders are for deleting ICE that corp can't afford. Feint helps with activating silhuette, so you don't run face first into rototurrets before you get your snitch.

The questionable elements are satellite uplink, q-coherences, armitage.

What I've learned is that this deck needs all the money it can get. That garrote ain't cheap. Getting blackguard on table is not easy either.

Bear in mind that I own cards only up to H&P.

Sneakdoor is there as a backup. Once you have corp all defensive on R&D/HQ and remotes, they rarely think about the archives. That's when you throw this shizz down and ravage their offices.

Too many cards for Silhouette, I always try and take advantage of a 40card deck. Best reason to use Silhouette and Chaos Theory, easy to set up completely in about 10 turns. IMO: -2x Satellite Uplink, -2x Armitage Codebusting, -3x Forged Activation Orders, +1 Emergency Shutdown, -2x Feint, +1x Plascrete Carapace. Down to 40 and hope you get Kati early.

Why Snowball over a third Corroder? To avoid Power Shutdown? I guess no, cause you already play Q-Coherence Chip.

Snowball mostly for the novelty. Also, I only have a single core set gasp, and never bought 1s or 2s. So just one core plus the expansions.

@Trypios - Good calls, actually. Feint comes handy for scouting a remote, for example, and I never bothered with plascrete. It's been ages since someone tried to flatline me ;-) Satellite and armitage need to go, I guess. Activation orders are great if you catch corps with pants down and nuke a Janus 1.0 or something. Great comment though, keep them coming ;-)
