Took this slight variant of NEH Butchershop to the Australian Nationals and it went 6-1 with its only loss to the eventual champion in the first round of elimination.

Psychic Field, Snare and Sea Source when seen by the runner usually scare them off giving you a window to naked score an astro, then chain away or midseasons, sea source or breaking news kill.

Won by scoring out 3 times against Noise and 3 kills.

really like the 1 of psychic field. Grats on your performance. Did you ever regret the sea sources? I think with film critic out now people have to play if they still want to play butcher, but I did see a few opponents playing it at nats, which seems fair enough

Thanks. Some games yes. I did use it for one kill and also one player who saw it got scared off allowing me to score out. I agree that film critic will make things more difficult but the triple threat of midseasons/sea source/breaking news is still strong. And we'll done on your 2nd place.
