Tower of Power

mendax 1024

Netrunner got you down? Do you find yourself playing against decks that you just don't have an answer for right now? Well look no further, because with the Tower of Power you have everything you could ever ask for, and a whole lot more thrown in for free!

Struggling with 24/7 haarp? Install your plascretes and watch them suffer! Meeting Jinteki net damage decks? Put you deck on the table and see them look at you in fear.

There is no ice you cannot break, not with faust and this many cards just ready to be thrown away, and with all the anarch support programs you can blast through any glacier (D4v1D), stop any fast advance (Clot), and smash everything that a horizontal deck could ever install (Imp). And if that's not enough, you have the most efficient restocking solution in the game (Trope).

You may think that this deck is inconsistent, but you'd be wrong. It doesn't matter which of your tools you find, you will always be able to do something, somewhere, and you can guarantee that it's not something that the corp will expect.

So do you enjoy having the answers to everything? Damn straight you do!

It feels like you want 3 Spec Orders in there with such a giant deck, could you drop 2 Net Ready Eyes (unique anyway, so that doesn't feel like a titanic loss)?

I've been playing a similar deck to this for a while, and Imp isn't near enough to deal with asset spam. I've got 3 Scrubber, more money, fewer cards and am still thinking about including Paricia.

@WaltzardDropping NRE means that you're far, far more likely to run into Lotus Field problems.

@Rek - have you tried using incubators on imps to keep them going forever?

@Rek CVS is a nightmare =\

Using Incubator on Imp gains you 1 more token before they purge, either manually or with CVS. I don't know if I'm happy spending 3 credits and two clicks to gain ~4 back with time walk.

I would happily trade 3 credits and 2 clicks for a free trash and a corp turn wasted purging. You do need to actively hunt down CVS though.

Fair enough. How many credits do you find mid-game technical writer installs give you?

Technical Writer is often better off being Faust food. However, it's usually easy enough to get it up to 6 or so what with virus cycling, and this is the same efficiency as Lucky Find so I'm happy enough with that.

Needs some Force of Nature, otherwise looking mighty fine.

What if we just cut one copy of every card

30 Oct 2015 mendax

@aero I refuse to accept that that card exists

@LSK this deck plays largely relying on Faust, and if you are playing a long game (e.g. RP or Foodcoats) it's amazing how close to the end of the deck you can get. I've even run out of cards a couple of times, and had to trope a bunch back in to keep going.

How long do you need Trope to be out before you find it's useful? You're only getting 1/3 of your cards back unless you're clicking to draw (1/2 with John).

Honestly, even trope at 5 or 6 is pretty useful - when you have 3 copies of each card in the deck it really doesn't matter if you on;y draw 1/3 of your cards.
