Dan D'Argenio's Hinky IG (1st place GenCon '16)

I was shocked at just how elegant this is. I imagine the whizzard matchup can still be rough if they get going, but this thing is just brutally efficient.

I'm not sure I get the point of Breaker Bay Grid - you've only got one expensive card to rez.

@The Broken MeepleWith Sensie giving you so much draw, setting up Hostile + Breaker Bay is not outside the realm of possiblity.

@The Broken Meeple In my testing it's usually just for getting hostile infra up, but there are a lot of other potential plays (and that one is important given the lack of any other economy outside of sure gambles).

Beyond that vs siphon decks and the like being able to negate the 2/1 to rez on hiro/bio can actually make the difference between winning or losing. Most runners won't siphon you for 3/2 credits, which with BBG can be enough to rez fire the combo.

Yeah you only need 5c total to fire the combo, and having BBG down for Hiro can enable you to do it from 3c. It's especially great if you've already got another BBG/HI rezzed and are able to fake it being a second HI that they can't afford to trash.

Forgive me for sounding naive (and perhaps a little stupid), but is someone able and willing to point out the combo to me?

@AberDamo4At the end of the opponent's turn have Hiro, Bio-Ethics and Ronin on the board and Dedication Ceremony on hand. Rez Hiro and Bio-Ethics, advance ronin click 1, dedicate, fire.

What's the logic behind psychic field instead of snare in this deck? Just cause it's cheaper?

In playing the deck, it was VERY rare that I had 4+ credits. Perhaps I was doing something wrong, but I don't think I was. Psychic field definitely feels like the better choice.

You want to have at least 5c as much as possible for the combo

psychic field because it blows their whole hand and combined with genetics pavilion you can kill them with ronin alone

Hinky IG fans -- what would you change (if anything) were you to play this now?

I'd drop a GFI, A BBG and a Jackson for the 3rd FP and 2 FIHP, but that's just me.
