Moloch 2

Cards in this Deck do only 3 Things:

  1. Draw like crazy to get the brutal kill combo
  2. Mess a little with the Runner to keep them from scoring to many points
  3. Ensure the combo is deadly even against some protection or other tech cards

Combo requires:

  1. Jackson Howard, Power Shutdown and Accellerated Diagnostics in Hand (or optionaly on board with Jackson)
  2. No cards that should be fired with Accelerated Diagnostics in hand
  3. One measly Breaking News scored
  4. From 6 to 10 credits, depending on if 7 or 14 meatdamage are required
  5. Runner made a run last turn and has not won the game yet

That's it, its a long list but everything on it is so easy.

The MVP of this deck is Special Report, recycling Agendas from HQ and passiv combo pieces such as Boom and Freelancer to get everything you really need like money, ice and the critical 3 combo pieces so much faster!

How do you deal with Plascrete Carapace? it seems you'd have a pretty rough time if they get that out.

Not at all a problem. The main combo is as follows:

1.click: install jackson 2.click: power shutdown your whole deck 2.1 use jackson to put 24/7 Newscycle, boom and a third operation, the wild card, into r&d 3. play Accelerated Diagnostics to fire all three operations. Key to this is that AD ignores additional costs such as the agenda forfeit of 24/7 or the second click of boom

Now 1 boom is enough to kill most runners. Here is where the wild card comes in. If the runner has plascrete installed it will be another boom for a total of 14 meat damage, still killing a runner with 2 installed plascretes! If the have gooro daveminder installes the wildcard is freelancer, trashing the resource. If the hide in a New Angeles City Hall, Hatchet Job can bounce it back into the grip before 24/7 is resolved.
