Jinteki Mill

ashtaroth 126

This is a control variant of the Jinteki PU I'm currently testing out. The aim is to mill out all of the Runner cards and set up a kill. If you can kill them beforehand then go for that as well. The deck can score reasonably well, but The Future Perfect is a liability, try to juggle them around amongst your protections. All the ICE are fairly taxing and don't mock Mamba, she more often than not can set you up a kill. And no one plays around Mamba. Economy is good and enduring, save up on Sweep's if you forsee some Account Siphon. Hostile and Bio Ethics open up scoring windows of HoK and eat up cards. Always focus on eating up their deck and remove through Chronos Project and Ark Lockdown the recursion. Museum and 3 Jackson and the Crick keeps you going more than enough time to grind them into a kill.

Awfully similar to the list I came up with. Only major thing is I preferred Hokusai Grid, since your only decent Breaker Bay target is Hostile Infrastructure. Not sure about Chrysalis and Data Mine. With how little ICE there is, I want it to stick around.

ALSO, I remember using TFP at first, but got tired of playing psi games when I was already poor. You actually want 1-3s and 2-3s - even though the density goes up, the fact that you can score them in one turn makes them good tools for forcing the runner to hit traps.

@NoSoup4youData Mine is a "Trap" ICE, only breakable with AI, so, if the runners doesn't have one it's a Neural EMP on run (almost always guaranteed 2 damage - 1 from hand, 1 from deck - ), that can set up a kill with Snare!, HoK, Komainu (before Data Mine) or any other flurry of Net Damage. It's also a bluff piece. Chrysalis I wasn't too thrilled about it, but it won me games. Think of it as a 4th Shock that can protect Hostile Infrastructure for extra annoyance.

Damn, I actually can't believe how useful Data Mine ended up being in my list. Still working on improving it...
