G-Smoke 45 {Current} - 1st place in testing tournament -11 p

Miguel Hernandez 20

[Disclaimer: In Chile we're testing a new format with a smaller card pool so the initial investment of new players is lower (packs are worth around 20 USD here, so this scales up the investment).

So we came up with this "Current Format", which includes: -Core Set -Deluxes -Last two cicles available (in this case, Mumbad and Flashpoint up until Martial Law)

Last Saturday was our first tournament using this format and it was really fun! We had 11 assistants and a lot of diversity in the Meta. Yellow and Purple taking over in Corp presence (1 Jinteki and no Weyland) and very even in Runners (4 Crims, 4 Shapers and 3 Anarchs).]

This deck went 4-1 trhough the day. It's a very standard smoke deck with the restrictions of the format, and a couple of pet cards of mine (Escher win me a very difficult match against Architects of tomorrow), i'm not entirely convinced in the list, but the bigger decksize came in handy against a PU that Ark Lockdowned my Levy, and the last minute additions proved very useful, i probably would remove one cloak, one akamatsu and one sports hopper.

i'll edit with the report of the tournament whenever i have time. Any comments on the deck or the format are welcome!

Wow! It's nice to see people taking actual steps—economically motivated or otherwise—to encourage new players. I think a lot of the hair-splitting on stimhack and elsewhere fails to see the point that rotation is happening too late. So many shitty, dumb cards will leave us when rotation happens, I'm so pleased your team is doing this already.
