Suit Up - 1st Brisbane, AU Regionals

This is the corp deck I took to first place at the Brisbane regionals this weekend. It carried me through a field of 17 in Swiss alongside a solid SoS to net me third place then won both games it played in the cut. My runner was TagMe Liza which had to face off against two HPT Weylands so my corp definitely did the work.

Since the ID was announced I took a liking because it was so thematically Weyland and being a green fanboy for years that it was hard not to. After seeing other variants perform well in other tournaments I knew this was what I was taking to my regionals. However, the Lobster variant didn't fit my style so I shifted the influence around and some other key cards and ended up here.

Ark Lockdown and Corporate Town were MVPs on the day being able to shutdown Inject/Zer0 binned breakers and trash the likes of No One Home, Turning Wheel and Shadow Net to name a few. Data Ravens are still core staples for Weyland providing that tag option and soft EtR on non-committal runners. IP Block as a singleton to assist on slipping tags on turtles alongside everyone's favourite Hard-Hitting News. Archived Memories as a backup recursion to the lonely Preemptive Action and for the double HPT play for a kill.

Ark Lockdown won me the final match with the play to remove both Paperclips then next turn Archived Memories to Lockdown both Blorchestras. From there it was my game to lose and thankfully I didn't slip up even after a 5 card Turning Wheel dig on R&D. Overall the deck went 5-1 with the loss being to a Gang Sign HQI Leela where I misplayed due to greed.

This is such a fun deck and I had an absolute blast playing it in the last ever official Netrunner tournament in Brissy. Thanks to the Brisrunner crew for being such incredible people over the years and for making the day so much fun. Special thanks to @xdfubar for the ultimate dad-off final match. I will now forever be reigning dadrunner.
