Blue Streak - 1st Brisbane, AU Regionals

This is the runner deck I took to first place at the Brisbane regionals this weekend. It dragged its arse through a field of 17 in Swiss alongside a solid SoS and strong corp deck to net me third place then won the only game it played in the cut. My corp was a variant of HPT kill in The Outfit which picked up Liza's bullet-ridden corpse and dragged it through Swiss where she then somehow regained consciousness to play in the cut. Good lord this meta.

I really really liked Liza because she brought back run-based Crim to a decent spot with some nice tag-centric tools we've seen before. After seeing other variants perform well in other tournaments I knew this was what I was taking to my regionals, meta be damned. I was hoping to see a lot more Mti than Weyland but c'est la vie.

The only major differences in my deck are the one-of Na'Not'K to help deal with stacked Surveyors with some help from Datasucker and upping Embezzle to the triple count. I also dropped Femmes because I wasn't seeing the benefit in what few games I tested. Other than that this deck pretty much runs itself, run to draw and gain v a l u e from laundry/sucker/pursuit/paragon/turtle, control the corps cash flow and pressure them from the first click.

The deck ended up performing 3-2 with one of the two losses ending with me on 6 points before the Corp was able to find the kill. The other loss I got to 3 points before finding the HPT myself in R&D.

If you come up against a HPT/Boom! corp then you just need to put the pedal down and race them while playing into your strengths. One match I played Hot Pursuit click one into a rezzed Mausolus tanking the net and stacking the tag, draw/tag from Liza then install Counter-Surveillance click two into CS run on another Mausolus-protected R&D to stack another tag to dig for a total of 13.

However, this is such a fun deck and I had an absolute blast playing it in the last ever official Netrunner tournament in Brissy. Thanks to the Brisrunner crew for being such incredible dudes over the years and for making the day so much fun. Special thanks to @xdfubar for the ultimate dad-off final match. I will now forever be reigning dadrunner.
